Check in
Iran Air flights operate from terminal 3 London Heathrow airport and from Imam Khomeini International airport in Tehran. Passengers must check in at the airport check in desks no later than one hour prior to flight departure. Check in desks closes sharply one hour before departure.
Baggage
Your baggage allowance is clearly printed on your flight ticket. The weight of each piece of baggage may not exceed 30kg. You will be required to pay a charge for carriage of baggage in excess of your baggage allowance.
Frequent flyers
When making booking please make sure to provide your frequent flier (sky gift) membership number. If you forget to advise numbers through the website please inform one of Europa travel consultants immediately.
Travel document
Your passport should be valid for 6 months for travelling. At the time of booking we presume that all passengers have a valid passport, visa or entry requirements according to the immigration rules of other countries travelling to and from.
Any refusal at the check-in on the date of the flight due to non-compliance with the passport or visa requirements will be solely the passenger responsibility. Charges will apply for any cancellation or changes required on the ticket.
All the flight tickets must be issued in the name of the passport holder. Any incorrect name or inaccurate spelling results in an inability to travel under that booking and the ticket will be cancelled.
Please review your travel documentations and booking carefully before making reservation. Please advise us of any mistakes or changes in the name, date or timings immediately.
Flight schedule changes
Please note that the departure/arrival time on your flight ticket may change at any time due to operational changes, weather conditions or air traffic control restrictions.
Cancellations / refunds
If you change your date of travelling or alter your route this may have an impact on the ticket fare. The fare is recalculated on the basis of the original bought ticket route, if applicable the difference subsequently is charged.
Please be advised that ‘’No show” fee will apply if you do not show up for your flight without advising us at least 24 hours prior to your departure.
Special requirements
Please liaise with one our consultants if you have any special travel requirements, such as any dietary needs, wheelchair.
Iran Air Medical clearance is required when:
Fitness to travel is in doubt as a result of recent illness, hospitalization, injury, surgery or instability of an acute or chronic medical condition. Special services are required e.g. oxygen, stretcher or authority to carry or use accompanying medical equipment.
Therefore, Iran air medical clearances must be obtained prior to travel date. please advise one of our consultants as soon as you made a booking.
Pregnancy
Normal pregnancy up to 28 weeks does not need any medical clearance, but after 28 weeks of pregnancy it is required to apply for a medical clearance or provide us with your doctors ”fit for travel” note.
Children / Infants / Unaccompanied minor
Infants under two years olds do not occupy seats on the aircraft, unless there are 2 infants travelling with one parent. in this case a seat shall be required for the second infant and child’s fare is paid. The luggage which may be carried with the infant free of charge is 10 kilograms.
Unaccompanied minors between 5 and 12 years old may travel alone on Iran Air flights without companions. Parents or child’s guardians of the child must complete an ‘’unaccompanied minor form” prior to child’s travel.
